Cinco de Mayo
There’s nothing better than a gathering of friends with great food, drinks, games and colorful decor. This Cinco de Mayo was a chill, adult way to celebrate the holiday, where getting drunk wasn’t the only activity.
Decor included brightly colored paper flowers, striped Mexican blankets and table runners, and a papel banner all sourced from downtown LA’s pinata district. Yes— we could have easily added a pinata to the mix but it didn’t feel right for the vibe. We ended the night with a game of Loteria (essentially Mexican bingo with beautiful cards) and it was incredibly fun. Use black beans as markers and Loteria cards as decor if you’re so inclined.
